SALE GOLF CLUB LOTTERIES
RULES & REGULATION FOR MEMBERS
INTRODUCTION
The information below outlines the conditions governing the Sale Golf Club lotteries. Funds that are raised from the lottery will contribute towards the enhancement of Sale Golf Club.
SUBSCRIPTIONS
The subscriptions are £10 per chance per month and are payable monthly on the 1st of each month by standing order. (£120 per chance per year). You may have more than one chance by increasing your subscriptions in steps of £10 (i.e. £20 per month gives you two chances). In accordance with lottery legislation, the funds raised will be divided between prize money and enhancing Sale Golf Club. The lottery membership will run from 1st September each year. Anybody wishing to join the lottery as a member in any other month of the year will need to submit the appropriate remittance and will participate in the lottery from the 1st of the following month. There will be a maximum of 200 subscriptions.
THE DRAW
The draw will take place not later than the 15th day of each month. Winners will be notified personally and a full list of winners will be displayed in the club house.
There will also be a half yearly draw on 1st January and 1st July each year.
To qualify for inclusion in each half yearly draw, you must have been contributing to the lottery for a period of three months leading up to and including the month prior to the draw.
Total prizes will be at least 50% of the subscriptions for the year.
MEMBERSHIP
Membership is available to anyone on payment of the appropriate subscription.
APPLICATION
If you would like to join there are standing order forms available from both the Bar and the Office. Just complete one and return it to the General Office marked f.a.o. The Hon.Treas.
PROMOTERS
The promoter of the SGC lottery is John Royle, Hon. Treasurer of Sale Golf Club.
