Sale Ladies - Cheshire Champions
Certainly worthy of any newsletter is the fact that our Ladies A team won their East Cheshire league. They then went on to the knockout stage and won in the final against Prestbury. Then they beat the West Cheshire champions (Royal Liverpool) to become the Cheshire champions.
We had a celebratory evening recently to thank them for their success. They have definately raised the profile of Sale Golf Club. You can see the two trophies and a photo of the team in the mixed lounge.
Has anyone noticed just how often Sale Golf Club has featured in the Metro News this year? I have had people outside the club making comments like "your club is doing well this year" and "saw you in the paper yet again!" It makes me so proud to be the Lady Captain.
