Sale Ladies Give Exemplary Performance in Mail on Sunday
Sale Ladies have reached the 6th round of the prestigious Mail on Sunday team competition.
Having disposed of some excellent opposition in the earlier rounds, the team was at full strength to tackle Enville, from Staffordshire. The home draw helped. The strong, gusty winds, believe it or not, also helped.
Most of the team had competed in the D'Oyly Carte the previous day so knew the impact of the incredibly strong winds. The team really pulled together, and with great composure and skill won every tie.
A resounding win for Sale 5-0.
