Sale Ladies March on in Mail on Sunday
With a little over 2000 teams entering the Mail on Sunday team competition this year, the Match Secretaries have to be up early and gearing their teams into action. The main competition started in February and Sale Ladies were drawn away at Peover for their 1st round.

The team elected for Trish to be the final player to tee off. With her excellent matchplay record, the team was confident that, if required, she had all the necessary attributes to bring in the win.
With the match tied at 2-2, Trish was indeed required to take it down the 19th and 20th. With nerves of steel she calmy won that hole which gave Sale the much-needed win.

In the 2nd Round, Todmorden GC came to Sale.

Sale Ladies were giving plenty of shots, so the home advantage really helped. Thanks to the Greens staff for relaxing the use of mats requirement. Sale managed a clean sweep with all Ladies winning their matches.
