Home Friendly versus Worsley
The friendly against Worsley was, after a number of postponements, finally able to be played on 28th September.
Seven fourballs ventured out onto the course on what was for a change a dry day at Sale
The games were again played with our normal friendly banter, but COME ON SALE was the cry. Despite the cheers we were however beaten by a impressive opposition by 4 games to 3.
The food was a lovely three course combination with the main course being the normal versus Worsley fayre of Lamb Henry.
Many thanks to Dick Browne for arranging the event - as always done perfectly - notwithstanding all the problems due to the rain.
