Sale Ladies Progress in Mail on Sunday
Following impressive wins against Swinton Park and Cheadle, our Ladies "A" team set up a local derby fixture against Mersey rivals Didsbury.
The home advantage gave Didsbury the edge but our ladies did a great job in winning 4-1.
Once again, 15 year old Gemma Clewes, playing off 5, lead the team out backed up by the very experienced Sue Barratt, off her 8 handicap.
Hilary Tarleton and Moira Forster, off 8 & 10 respectively followed and the mighty anchor, also known as Cath Rawthore, playing off 2, provided unwilting support at the back.
